Analog Brushless Amplifiers Features and Options
• Ergonomic design Easy access to connections, adjustments and test points.
• SMT construction Provides ultra compact size, cost competitive package and high reliability.
• Silent operation 20 kHz PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) standard.
• Complete isolation Complete optical isolation between signal and power stage.
• Multimode operation The Trapezoidal and 2-Phase/3-Phase Current Mode servo amplifiers can operate in current (torque) mode and the Resolver Based Sinusoidal servo amplifiers can operate in either current (torque) or velocity (RPM) mode.
• Wide operating voltage Operating voltages range from either 70-240 or 240-340 VDC for Module and 3U Plug-In configurations and either 110-130 VAC or 208-240 VAC for Stand Alone and Multi-Axis configurations.
• Direct AC operation No transformer required for stand-alone units or multi-axis chassis. The stand-alone units and multi-axis chassis include DC bus power supply, regen clamp and dumping resistor, in-rush current limiting protection at power-on and cooling fans.
• Three basic versions Available in Trapezoidal, 2-Phase/3-Phase Current Mode and Resolver Based Sinusoidal commutated versions.
• Fault protection Short from output to output, short from output to ground, amplifier RMS over current, amplifier over voltage and amplifier over temperature.
• Industry std. mounting Available in Module, Stand Alone, Multi-Axis and 3U Plug-In configurations. Optional custom mounting configurations are available to meet virtually any requirement.
• LED status indicators A green LED illuminates to display normal operating conditions while red LED’s illuminate or flash to indicate various faults.
• Dedicated inputs +/- limits, inhibit, fault, motor over temperature and reset.
• External fault reset An input is provided to reset the amplifier in the event of a fault.
• Current limit Peak motor current is adjustable.
• Bandwidth All servo amplifiers have a maximum 3000 Hertz current loop bandwidth which varies with the motor inductance.
• CE compliant All servo amplifiers are CE marked.
