Glentek’s
engineering department has recently begun integrating Glentek’s
servo amplifiers and servo motors using the Sound Logic PC-2-Route
REV 1.9 and ArtSoft’s Mach 3 software. There are many
advantages that servo amplifiers and servo motors will provide
to your project. Glentek uses our own software to tune our
products. This allows the user to maximize the efficiency of
the amplifier and motor combination. The tuning software is
called Motion Maestro and is very user friendly. We also have
the procedure in our manuals for tuning each series of our
motors and amplifiers in conjunction with Motion Maestro. These
manuals are provided for online use directly from www.Glentek.com.
Glentek offers reasonably priced products with exceptional
quality and reliability.
The benefit of a DSP digital position loop is that you can match
following errors of different axes for position accuracy while
contouring. The amplifier takes the pulses for both pulse and direction
and then micro steps the servo motor a defined distance for each
pulse. Commutation of the brushless servo motor can be accomplished
utilizing either Hall sensors or Glentek’s Smart Comm initialization
software. The Smart Comm software eliminates Hall sensors or commutation
tracks on the encoder, etc. All of the Glentek servo amplifiers
and servo motors can be used with any breakout boards. We encourage
